87 supra engine

My 87 supra needs a new engine and im lookin for a Turbo or TT but i want to buy it from a LEGIT seller... if anyone knows sumwhere to get them at a resonable price with 40,000 to 70,000 miles please let me kno!

They only made the 7M in Turbo (single) and Non-turbo. There were no twin turbo 7M's.

Really, it depends on what you're looking for. What is a "Legit" seller? Unless you go through some place like RabidChimp.com, you're going to be getting a JDM engine, with a chopped wiring harness and no ECU. No explicit mileage recorded (every one will say between 40K & 60K miles) No warranties, no gurantees. There are some better JDM engine resellers, but I don't keep up with who they are anymore.

Best engine importer in the US: Jarco. www.jarcoinc.com ask for Michael Hooper and tell him I sent you. The engine will come with everything you need: engine, tranny, harness, ECU, all sensors and everything, the original cluster, etc.

I would strongly recommend the 1JZGTE for your car, or the 2JZGTE if you want to take it that far. There is a lot of info about the swap on supramania.com so I would check that out.
