3rd Generation TEMS - rear suspension

Hey again,

The car is a 1990 Turbo Supra, just inquiring about the type of replacement of the rear shocks/suspension on the TEMS systems. What brands are good, or just go with OEM from toyota directly?, ask for TRD equipment?, or what else? Thanks for everyones input. Oh yeh, this car is completely stock original, with no mods at all.

John

honestly, i'd ditch the TEMS for a better damper, such as Koni yellows. MUCH better.

Tokico make a direct replacement, and that's about it. The tokico's are a bit hit and miss from reviews in the past, but they are fairly cheap too and should do well in a stock applicaiton.

TEM$ are worthless IMO. I've got 'em completely removed in my Supra. Now I just need to find something to put in the TEMS button location.

I was thinking more of a "super persuit mode" button or maybe I'll convert the TEMS controller into momentary contact buttons and make it enable the 'scramble' mode of the boost controller...

Love my stock 192k mile TEMs, I have the caddy cush and at the push of a button It firms right up. Make a big difference in handling buy sway bars.

No need...a slider will fit in the coin tray and nobody'll steal it with the lid closed

No white castles on this side of the boarder. I've actually never been to one...I made it my mission last time I went to Kentucky, but only discovered Hardees instead...Perhaps when we go to the Indy meet in May I can try again...

the closest one to me is 77.5 miles. my buddies and i went there on a whim last weekend. we got a crave case, which is 30 burgers, and there were three of us. we devoured that thing!
