The 7mgte is a very strong engine too but all you need to remember is building the botum end and top end to take the power you put into it.Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to TN. I actually saw a MKIV Supra TT in Calgary for sale. One of the rare hardtop ones from 93.5.

yeah, mods for the 5MGE are hard/impossible to find. Have you considered swapping in the 7MG(T)E? even if its the no turbo, its still got 40hp on your motor. or if you've got more cash than you know what to do with, you could import a 1JZGTE (2.5L twin turbo) that baby pumps out 280hp.

Go to a local racing shop that actually has a racing team (like sprint cars or something not ricers) these guys are uasually the best to go to for headwork. if you really wanna get crazy, check to see if they can fabricate headers and exhaust for you too

Go the 1JZ motor. Its not a hard coversion. Make sure you get a motor out of a Chaser cause the sump is in the same spot as the 5M engine so you can keep the original crossmember. Mine is just about finished its been a fun conversion. Plus they are a more modern engine with 208kw and virtually unbreakable!!

the 1JZ-GTE is a JDM engine right? never seen it here in NA before...

I wonder if that actually fits in a Camry ... damn I'll definitely pick that instead of 3S...

That's an I6 engine isn't it? Might be too long to fit under a Camry hood.

Ummm the 1JZ motor is a 2.5L 6 cylinder and just fits into a Supra! Don't think it will go near the front of a camry....
