Question about a price for a supra

Got a line on an 86 1/2 supra for 700 or obo. Problem is it has a spun bearing. Is this a big deal. Last time I dealt with a spun bearing, it was a Chrysler K car and we just rebuilt the engine. Would this require the same work? Can I instead just drop the bottom end and replace the bearing? Been years since I have had to do something like this. Of course, I don't know yet if it is an auto or a stick. The auto would kill the deal.

I wouldn't just swap a bearing without a complete teardown and inspection, but that's me. I would budget for a rebuild. Besides, the engine pretty much has to come out (no real clearance with the block in the car) to get the oil pan off in the first place.
