3rd Generation Plugs and Wires Questions + Rotor questions.

So im about to replace my plugs and wires, and my pads and rotors, and i was wondering what you guys recommend or have on your car. Im pretty sure im going to get EBC Redstuff brake pads, but i don't know what rotors to get. Im only replacing the front but im doing the rear soon. What rotors should i use? I dont want OEM Replacements w/ Dimpled/Drilled whatever. I would rather have some preformance rotors with no slots or anything thatll work just as good and last longer.
As for the plugs and wires, what do you guys suggest? I havn't even looked into this yet.

If you don't want a slotted/drilled rotor, buy factory replacements, or anything you can get at NAPA. I've never found any difference in the full faced rotors from one to the other. Now, for pads, Porterfield or KVR all the way. I've never heard bad things about EBC, though I've rarely heard anyone rave about them either.

Plugs and wires, I use the factory platinum, or NGK platinum. Wires, OEM all the way. They are the only ones that fit the holes in the centre valley gasket properly.

Its not that i dont want them, but i heard factory OEM Replacements that are cut, slotted, drilled, etc. Can start to spiderweb out and just have a reduced braking life in general. Especially since there cut from OEM Replacements. Were there any rotors you would personally recommend other than just blanks. As for the stock plugs, should i hit up napa, or a toyota dealership?

I run slotted rotors. They dont' have the issues of radial cracking the drilled ones do. KVR and powerslots are well thought of brands. They are harder on pads however, but that is the side effect of the improved initial bite braking you get from slots.

For wires, I run stockers from Toyota for fit, but will have to find something else with the current build.

Really? Why the copper or the others other than platinum?

cheaper, fatter spark, more availability. Stock plats generally last longer, and cost more but that's about all they have on copper. I like removing the intake and coils as few times as needed, though with the path I'm headed down, I'll likely go copper as well because access will not be an issue.

better potential spark, all things equal. Copper is more conductive than platinum. It's also softer and wears more, hence the lower life expectancy.

Yeah i can see that. What do you think the average life of Copper and Platinums are? Ill buy coppers for better spark, but im not gonna buy them if they only have like 1/4th the life of less. I dont want to have to replace them alot.

Coppers also cost $1.29 or somethings stupid like that. Changing spark plugs on our car is not something that's worth of much bitching. Try chaning the plugs on an LS1 :-D
