Best / cheapest place for control arm bushings?

I have found that in addition to all of the other problems I have, 7 of the 8 front control arm bushings are bad to totally shot. I do not need top notch performance - where can I get a good deal on these?

If you're doing them anyway, I'd upgrade to Poly bushings. Check out www.horsepowerfreaks.com

Look for RK poly bushings. They're probably cheaper than new OEM units.

Also, If you want new lower a-arm bushings, I know for a fact that you have to buy the entire arm from Toyota. So, you're defiantly better off going Poly.

Ok, Horsepower Freaks wants 750.00 for a set of bushings. Granted, it is for all the control arms, however I only need the front upper and lower. I do not have time (or the money) to do the rears and they are not bad - just one upper ball joint back there is loose. Does anybody know where to get a slightly more cost effective set?

I don't believe they exist. Decent (relative) demand, very small supply.

superpro/dobinson out of australia have them, but they're nearly as much by the time you factor in shipping. email george@rapotrracing.com as he is normally able to get them fairly quickly and for about the best price.

Energy suspension is also going to be releasing a set for the supra, but not for a fair while yet.

Toyota sells the front uppers for about $25.00 each. They do not sell the lowers separately however.

I found a set of front bushings for around $250.00 from a place called Supra Sport (I think). However while waiting for my used downpipe to arrive ($75.00 from a guy in Forida) I found a listing on Ebay - I have paid for (but not yet received) the upper and lower front bushings for $177.00 including shipping. These supposedly came from Australia, and I am hoping that they actually fit. The gentleman has one more set of upper bushings for sale for $45.00.

If you're still looking (one of the few times I can say thanks for bumping an old thread), energy suspension just came out with a complete set for peanuts. George as above has a hookup right now, and many of the normal supra shops are having early intruductory prices. I believe both ends of the car for well under $200, and all of the fronts alone are under $100
