Well, I think they're rare. I can't find them anywhere. I got ONE from a junkyard once but it was f'd up and repainted and crap. On top of that the clips where broken. Luckily I found this one on eBay, big once, forgot about it, and won it! Only 14.99 after shipping.
Now... does anyone have a drivers side one they are wanting to let go of?
lucky. I have looked all over my area, tons of junkyards, and every Supra i've seen hasn't had them. I even found a guy who was parting out his Supra and his never had them hahah.
I was in Toyota not too long ago looking up some prices for stuff for my Supra. All I know is what they wanted (even though the parts are new) is a lot more than I have hahah.
But... perhaps I can locate a local dealer (i'm not living near that dealership anymore) and get ahold of the parts. What do you think they're gonna run?
I called Ventura Toyota and after describing the part several times to ensure it's the right one... they found it. I guess it's still available. They would like me to go look at the illustration first, of course, but its only available in dark grey. Is that the same as the normal grey interior?
It's only... 13 bucks. special order. it'd take a day. LOL. So if it's the right shade i'm gonna get it while it's still available. So is dark grey the same as the one I just got off ebay?
lol. Is there any site that lists or shows the optional interior colors from those years? I know scionlife has a list of the exterior colors but its not perfect (it says my maroon was only available in 86 for some reason)
ya...I didn't want to burst your bubble...but they are really cheap, and still available...I only knew of 2 greys...and one was shadow. Don't quote me on it as I rock the maroon, and while there was officially only one, there are closer to 3 depending on the year.
Hmm.. Jeeves, your interior is grey right? I think I recall seeing it in pictures. Whats the interior trim code on it (if it wouldn't be too much trouble). I would love to look at my Supra to see but it's stored almost 2 hours north of me at the moment lol
