6m MK2

I know there's such a thing but I havent heard of any here in the states. Here's an MK2 on eBay with on installed

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...t=%7Btarget%7D

Isnt the 5m a 3.0 as well? Or is a 2.8? I'm so confused.

Maybe i'm tired.

Help?

5m=2.8, 6m=3

really, the 6m is almost a hybrid. It's essentially a 7m block under a modded 5m head. I've seen several around here (Japan only engine). They have more kick than a 5m, but not enough in my world to justify the effort. I'd turbo the 5m or go 7m-gte if I wanted more power.

ah you learn something new everyday. I always thought the 5m was a 3.0l for some reason. I used to drive my friend's around down and I had a blast. Maybe thats why my friend's MK3 turbo (now my car) feels so much quicker lol.

Ah. So did the 6m come in the MK2 Supra over there?

I can't remember. Nobody has one so I've never paid attention. Must have been a bear to find, a dog of an engine, or just not worth it with 7m's and 1j's a plenty

ah yeah I think we're thinking this. The 'G' series engines.

I actually found one on eBay not too long ago. I think I posted a thread too. Yeah it'd be a lot better to even have the 7mgte in the Supra haha.
