The question should be: How wide a tire can you put on stock rims? Some 245's will fit on the stock rims and have manufacturer recommended rim widths of 7 inches at the narrow end. Almost all 225's will, as well as 215's as 7 inches is almost always in their manufacturer's recommended rim width.

Now, if you meant on something other than stock rims, let us know and we can revisit the question...

hey dude I got your myspace message. I figured it'd be easier on here to reply...

Run rims do you have? If you get some MKIV tt rims (pricey) you can run up to...

wel I did the research and found those pictures:

but I dont believe you can slap on some 285's on your stock MK3 rims... Any tire shop can tell you what the max tire size you can run.

those look good! I likey. well it depends. the rims is 16x?? The Supra aparently can handle up to 285 without rubbing in the back. Just need to know if those can mount on those rims.

all I know is thats not good on a stock 7m Supra. Jeeves and Bgrieger will have to answer that one. 7m's are notorious for blowing headgaskets. Increasing the boost (unless you're talking about after the re-build), its just gonna result in a BHG.
