MkIII Front Bumper repair (DIY)

HELP! I hit a stray orange cone in the middle of the highway at 60 mph. Here is the shape of the grill below the front bumper. Can I use PVC cement to repair? Any ideas short of replacement?

I think any type of strong adhesive would work. Just A, Some glues remove paint, and B, its gonna be hard to make it look new again.

The bumper is urethane, a chemical set plastic. You can purchase it in liquid or gel form in smaller quantities at body shop supply stores. The stuff is pretty nasty though...use it in a VERY well ventilated area...open air being best.
