antenna question

When i bought my car the antenna was broken off, and i was just wondering if there was a difference between the 86.5-88 and 89-92 antennas. I think the 89-92 are electric motorized and the 86.5-88 are not? Can somebody help me with this im really tryin to listen to some tunes lol

They are all electric. The difference is in where they mount to the body...the 86.5-88 come up through the fender and have one type of nut and fitting at the top, and the 89 plus go through the fender and have their top mount in the wing. Order the one for your year and you should be fine...your wallet won't be though.

There are universal manual antennae that will be at your local autozone. Cheap at under $20, but they work. Just have to remember to put them down going through the car wash. I've rocked one for years now as I just couldn't justify the price in a car I drove once a week or so, and I had an ipod input on the stereo...
