Yup! Turbo bad

Pulled off the turbine elbow and sure enough, lots of oil so the turbo is indeed bad on this 87 supra. I need aftermarket and stock replacement recommendations. Also, any places which the turbo can be sent to for a cost-effective rebuild? Cost is a factor here. Thanks in advance!

Well, once you're in for the price of the rebuild, an upgrade turbo is only a small amount extra. Most cost effective, but risky, would be to purchase a used one. You could do well, or install one as bad as yours.

MDCmotorsports and other offer 57 to 60 trim upgrades with your core for 675-800 depending on who it is plus shipping. Stock rebuilds I've never priced so I can't give you exacts, but it likely won't be a whole lot cheaper.
