4th Generation Think my tubo is going bad help!!!

So my car doesnt not overheat, but im pretty sure it is burning coolant and i think its a sign that the turbo is going to go? Ill put some coolant in, not much, and then a few days (2-4) later, the coolant light will start flashing when i turn and stuff, then another 2 days or so it will be on. Turbo going bad?
(Woops on the GEN4. 89 Turbo MA70. Stock Ct26)

Nope, of all the things to consume coolant, the turbo is the last I'd assume.

BHG is far more likely.

Edit:
And the 89 Supra is a Mk3 (3rd Gen.) not a 4th.

I doubt its a blown head gasket because my temp never goes above what it normally goes too. And you can smell like burning coolant it seems like or something.
I know that jeeves, thats why i put woops on the gen 4.

Found the leak. Rotted radiator. Slowly draining out, how hard is it to replace the radiator on the 7m-gte? Ive done it on some 305's and 350 camaros and stuff but never a import.

Nope, pull the two upper brackets. Remove the smaller A/C Fan (3 bolts?). Remove the hoses (including the small overflow hose) and the fan shroud (has some bolts). Lift straight up. Can't say how the automatic is.

Wow them are expensive, uh do you know any that have automatic transmission coolers built in? I kinda like the whole stock auto trans cooler, so if i cant find one with one built in i think i might look at getting one directly from toyota.

The koyo's are pricey...but they are pretty (and about double the thickness of the stocker). I'm not sure if PWR/fluidyne/haste/mishimoto have any with the auto tranny cooler built in but CSF has an all metal stock replacement that's popular that does have it. I'd not recore the stocker as the plastic end tanks eventually fail (split open, then you get coolant everywhere).

CSF lists it as their part # 2200...I can't tell the difference on the site you listed.

ask the shop...if they can't tell you, try another one. There should be no shortage of places willing to give you what you need...

Does the #2200 CSF Radiator have the automatic transmission cooler in it? I was told it didn't have it.

I picked the detail up from the CSF catalogue which included the drawing of the supra rad including the cooler. If I were you, I would head to CSF's website and ask them. Given they make it they should be able to give you an answer first time, rather than asking a whole whack of people their thoughts on what it has...
