What speed, What RPM

I was going to ask anyone with time on there hands to help me out a little. I my speedometer is out and I can't afford the part yet. It is going to take some time, I would rather buy the cable new, better than used.
My question for help is can someone get me some speeds using there good speedometer and tell me what rpm the car stays at.

Mostly about what RPM in 4th or 5th gear is 35, 45 and 50 MPH and if high way driving right at 65MPH.
And 25MPH for schools zones in 2nd 3rd or 4th.
First will this work? I know gears don't change so the RPM from the engine in a gear should be the same speed in MPH usually right? Or does it change?
I am going to be able to get a cable in probably 3 months I am still searching for some in scrap yards, but if any one has the time, and this method works then I really appreciate it. If it helps any it is a 88 non turbo stock.

I haven't compared but there's a thread at SM about this:

Never mind I just figured it out, I printed it. Is this pretty accurate? I am going to run it anyways, I just don't need another ticket haha.

If your tire size is correct and you've got all the normal parts for an 88 non-turbo, that should be spot on. Gears are gears, they don't change Tire size will make a bit of a difference though if you're bigger/smaller.

[That chart I made is figuring a W58 5-speed, a 4.30:1 Rear Diff (Final Drive), and 225/50/16 tires which should be stock on an '88 N/A.)
