3rd Generation installing a Flex-a-lite fan

well I got a new flex-a-lite fan (230) with temp. sensor & control unit, and I have no clue how to get power for it. the instructions say to "tap into a power source" in the engine compartment, but I dont know where.
could someone who has installed one of these please help me out!?

I took out the mini fan, which has something to do with the A/C, could I use the wires
that go to the mini fan? I would greatly appreciate any help...is there maybe a write-up on how to put a Flex-a-lite in an MKIII?

thanks a bunch!

It is simple, tap into one of the main power feeds off of the fuse box under the hood. Take the ground and bolt it to the body.

Honestly, if you do not know which wires are power and which are ground you should find a friend to come over and help.

yeah, I tried that already, but my friend was 'busy'

there seems to be a lot of wires up under there...any suggestions
on which one to tap into? ... and how should I go about tapping into it?

Thanks!

I believe the white ones are the main power buss. Try to find the main feed in off of the alt/batt, and install a fuse in line if it didn't come with one.
