3rd Generation U-Joint replacement

Ok so i am going to take my driveline out to fix my carrier bearing, while its out i might as well replace my u-joints. Im am pretty sure the driveline has never been touched yet so it has the factory u-joints in it which ive been told are non-serviceable. Looks to me like they have the black rubber or plastic caps or however they are seated in. I was wondering how they are pulled out...if i have to melt them out or use a c-clamp and press them out.. any ideas?

The spider bearings can be replaced. It does require a bit of a press out. I don't remember any plastic caps, but there are snap rings.

Factory u-joints are serviceable. Ignore whoever told you they weren't.
