Who came up with this 500px wide BS?
Very nice. Got a question about a few things, where did you get your front sway bar? My rear is rusting out and i need to get a new one, whatd it cost? Also same with the traction bars.
Nice Jeeves. Wish mine was together. I ended up having to deck the block, so she is in complete pieces. I like your equipment, I can't seem to remember where you said you got most of your parts from though. I have ordered a few things from jsc speed, but I have heard people have had problems with them. Let me know what you think...?
My parts are from all over. There's so much custom work in this car that to say any of it came from any one major source is about as accurate as to say that the United States came from the South Pole. I mean, let's see:

It doesn't make your car startup weird or anything? Does the ECU still think its there or what? Taking out an injector just sounds like a iffy idea lol.
Does the stock fuel rail do fine with the 550 injectors?
That fuel rail would be fine with like, 1300CC injectors, it's huge in comparison to many many fuel rails. The ECU thinks it's there. I also removed the temp swich for it too though, so technically, it might try to run it Car runs great Not an issue at all for me. Car starts, goes to 1200rpm for about 40 seconds, then down to 1000rpm. Then once it gets up to about 1/3 on the temp gauge normal idle will kick down to 1/3 700-800rpm or so. When the elec fans kick on their load on the alternator will bring that down to 6-700.

Lol well that works for you jeeves. Im assuming with the temp sensor out it probably just completely cuts the CSI out. Stops sending fuel and everything is my guess. Good to know our fuel rail is massive =] Ive been talking to some people who have mk3's around my area and a few of them run 14lbs of boost without hitting fuel cut. No afm / 550 injectors. One guy even runs 14.7 exact on a EBC and never hits fuel cut. Makes me think i might run 13-14 after i get my car back.
If you think that matters on your car, you're foolish.
Just because one guy can do it, means nothing to your car, or my car, or anyone's car. If you don't want to listen to years of advice from hundreds of more informed individuals telling you the fuel system wasn't designed to sustain more than 12psi, and that the turbo is out of efficency beyond that. Then don't, fine. It's your car, your money, your parts, and your labor. But don't say you weren't warned.

lol alright. so after putting new injectors in the car should i upgrade fuel rails/pumps anything like that? I figured at least a walboro pump or something.
Wow i didn't even know you were running a MAF. What do you have to do to make the car work with a MAF? I don't plan on doing it, im just fine with the lxus-550 thing, im just curious. MAF's are usually for cars exceeding the limits of AFM's right?
Lookin good Jeeves! I went to my local j/y and found a newer style steering wheel too (the 88 wheel is butt ugly!) and the guy said he would only sell it as the entire steering column. Gay as hell. Next time I go in i'm gonna take it off and say it was like that LOL
