i guess no one has a quick answer for you. there could be any number of things wrong with your ride.

you list three problems, smoke, non working boost gauge, and stalling above 25mph. did all these things happen at once?

it started with the turbo meter, then stalling, then after a few days of not driving it, i changed the air filter just in case it had to do with the problem. After cleaning it, I started the car and took a test drive finding it still stalled at speeds above 25, after the third try for passing that speed black smoke started coming from the exhaust.

Thats the order it happened in.

the turbo meter is run off a pressure sensor just in front of the firewall above the master cylinder. it is the thing that says turbo pressure sensor. maybe it is toast, or the wires from there to your dash, or the vacuum line is cracked.

what did you clean when you say you cleaned the intake? if you sprayed anything through the AFM, then i can say with almost certainty that you fried it big time.

black smoke could be a sign of just running way too rich. perhaps you have an air leak after the afm. check that tightened all the hoses. check that you didn't tightened all the little vacuum hoses around, especially the one for the power steering idle up under the accoridan hose.

hope that helps.

how do i check if the sensor is fried or not?

what i cleaned was the k&n air filter (dont know if intake of not but its the stock air filter) and i sprayed some oil on the filter afterward as the instruction said.

What is Afm

I'm still a beginner so i don't know too much.... thanks

the AFM is directly behind the air filter. it is a small alluminum housing with a rectangular box on top of it. some models have a white line of silicone around the outside as a seal. others have black. it has a 4 or 5 wire connector attached to it.

to check the pressure sensor, goto www.supras.com, and find the TSRM for the mk3. it is hosted online. in there you will find what to do to test it, but i doubt that is it. more than likely you have a vacuum leak somewhere leading to that sensor. take the vacuum line off while it is runing, and see if you feel vacuum? you could even put a cvacuum gauge on it temporarily to see how vacuum you have at that point. it should be around -18mmhg at idle.
