CT 26 info needed!!

Hey guys I am new to this site...I have owned a couple of Supras in the past, but right now I am currently working on a turbo project using the ct-26. I need to rotate the intake side to point up so to speak..I am sure that some of you will know how to do that...Do I need to take off the large snap ring to doso? Also has anyone ever done this and still been able to use the factory wastegate actuator mounting it differently? It seems the ct-26 from the celica or Mr2 haev different mounting brackets...is this the case?

Clocking the turbo? Yes, undo the band clamp, gently whack it until you can rotate it, and rotate the outlet where you want it. You will need to look at how to rebracket the wastegate actuator. I don't think anyone has bothered with it, so perhaps you can find something that works for you.

A better way to go about it is to take the snap ring off and then remove the compressor housing. Once that's done take out the little anti rotation pin that is in there. It is a pain to get that snap ring out of there.

The MR2 and Supra turbos are different. The wastegate actuator rod can be bent to a certain extent and work.
