What is the recommended torque to re-torque the head on my 7MGTE? and will the factory head bolts hold down that torque or should i pick up a set of ARP's? __________________ 1997 Toyota Corolla DX (R.I.P.) - bolt on performance parts... ~200HP 1975 Datsun 280Z - in the process of reserection and a RB26DETT drop...... 1987 Toyota Supra T - Bone stock ~310HP so far....

If you want to replace the gasket, have at it. ARP are well liked, the studs have advantages over any bolt, but nobody has been able to find a single thing wrong with stockers other than what Toyota told us to torque them to.
