Exclamation S.o.s!

Alrighty, heres the story:
About 2 months ago I got really lucky. I found a decent running, not that bad of a body, '87 Supra NA for only $300! Needless to say I pulled the money from the bank as soon as I saw it and had it at there door in like 30 min. I drove it about a month and I'm not sure why but the rod snapped (probabley milage). So I found a 1jz gte for $800, without the tranny (of course this leaves me with a problem. My question is will the 1jz motor bolt up to the 7m tranny?

Yeah it will, a bit of mod is needed, best bet put the 1j in the mk3, weight and all, it makes for a nice car, but yeah that should have an R box style trany in it which should bolt up to the 1j, if it was a cheaper supra with the older supra/celica all cast aluminum trany then you can also find the r box in hmm, any 93 and later 4 runner and toyota tacoma, manual that is, autos are for wusses hehe.

Na has the W58, and last I checked that will not bolt to the 1j. Need an R154 for that game. Best 1j info on supraforums under the MK III section.
