hey guys auto ignorant here agian me and buddy were shocked to learn my supra had no oil pan gasket thinking this was the reason its leaking oil we added one the other day(still leaking oil heavily from cross member) and today i discovered that they dont use one just that instant gasket seal stuff would running it with an oil pan gasket make any diffrence if yes any one have tips on how to remove oil pan cause we tryed like hell to get it out and we could only drop it just enough to get the pan gasket on <<<< seems like these cars arnt freindly to any one without small japanese fingers..... love it though =))

Toyota is all about the FIPG, and it works rather well. Just make sure you give the mating surfaces a good cleaning with some acetone before applying it.

Hey guy, have you checked the back of your block for oil or on the top of your bellhousing? I know alot of times if your oil channels are leaking from a blown head gasket that the oil loves to trickle down the back of you engine and collect on the crossmember.

Blown headgasket doesn't cause leaking on the outside of the block..
