I've heard about Amsoil but not much. I dont know how well I would trust them.

I do know how good Royal Purple is though. I plan on running that in my MR2 with my next oil change.

Both are well regarded full synthetics. If you have nothing specific to ask, that's about all the discussion that can take place. For light reading on these and others, please feel free to hop over to bobistheoilguy.com for more information than you could shake a stick at.

As to walmart oil, the supertech synthetic is a well regarded oil, and while not in the league of Mobil or Redline, it is still something the masses for their vehicles should not shy away from.

Well the main reason why I ask for opinions is because all of my engine bearings faired good except for the oil pump driveshaft bearings. I need to know how to replace them, and I don't want it to happen again so I was asking about better oils. I apoligize for the crude posting. To me, it looks like it takes a special tool to knock them out and put them in.
