I talked with a guy that said he put a twin turbo shifter on a MKII w-58 tranny. Does anyone know if this is possible? If not, who makes a good short throw shifter for a second gen. supra?

Thanks

I guess the real question that I'm asking is, can you use a 5sp shifter from a mkIV supra, either the n/a model or the year they made the twin turbo with a 5sp, on a W-58 tranny from a mkII 1985 supra? Come on guys, somebody must have tried this.

the w58 is the tranny for all NA supras from the early mkII to the powerful MKIV u sould be essentially able to switch it in to the mkii granted that chassis has the right cut out for it. if not then it might not clear your chassis and u'll have to custom weld
