ARP main studs

I should be able to use stock torque specs for ARP main studs, shouldn't I? I got a set for $50 from a friend who didn't use them, so I went with them. I don't really see the need to crank them to 80 ft pounds, although I know they have a different type of holding power than bolts. I think I would have to get my main bore line honed then. Should I use them? I also have ARP connecting rod bolts and I was told that my rod caps need to be resizing and checked for fitment....Using arp hardware other than head studs sounds like a waste of time for a street machine.....

Use ARP's torque spec, not Toyotas, and use whatever lubricant on the threads ARP specifies.
