Any new supra rummors???

just wondering if the supras are comming back? i know that supras ended in 1998. (because it was too expensive).

one of my friend told me that the reproduction of supras (93-98)still going on in japan. he also told me that there might be new supras imported in the USA in the near future..(2005). but that is just a rummor..i dont believe it.

i think that toyota should stand up against other compectors such as nissan, the "350z", Honda "NSX" and madza "the RX-8" and start creating the ultimate car "the supra", whether it is the same model or new

Toyota finally stopped production of the MK IV supra early this year. No more are coming. The Tokoyo auto show had no sign of a Toyota sports car this year either, which puts it at least 1 year away.

Given the focus on the intorduction of the Scion branded cars, I doubt North America would see one even if they were working on it. Toyota is going to want all their flash and sizzle in the new group, and wouldn't want to steal spotlight with something like a Supra reintroduction.
