1) Never use your old stock dampers with new springs. They'll blow out within a thousand miles or so. 2) Your best bet would be to ditch TEMS altogether, as it's very dated technology. I recommend going straight to coilovers. Check out TIP over on Supramania. The guy you want to talk to is Wiisass. He
really knows the MKIII suspension.
If you don't want to get coilovers, grab some good lowering springs of your choice and a good damper, such as Koni Yellows. Make sure you do lots of research on the springs, though, and pick what's suited best for your needs.
