will the arp 203-3902 head bolts for a 7mgte work in in a 7mge as well. I need to do a head gasket in a non turbo and want to change the bolts but i cant find any info if the bolts are the same in the turbo and non turbo. thanks, quick answer would be great because i need to buy for this weekend. thanks again
Are you sure? I believe the heads on the non turbo are in fact different they do have different part numbers and if that translates into different thicknesses at different areas it won't matter if the "stud pattern" is a match.

Of several different websites I've ventured to, they have different part numbers and different prices. If they were exactly the same, this wouldn't be the case.
**Correction, you are right, they listed engines along with the heads-on several sites, my bad, had to scroll around to find that out.**
They are the same part numbers.

Typically speaking, unless I actually know what I'm talking about, I just don't post, so yeah. Also, I work at Toyota, so I did check the part numbers before posting as well, haha.
Also, I'll clarify my previous statement about the blocks, when I said they were the same, I meant the deck is the same, as far as lower down is concerned, of course the pistons are different and the GTE has the piston oil squirter nozzles. Also 03/89+ blocks are quite a bit more reinforced than earlier blocks, and 08/89+ cranks are heavier and fully counterbalanced.

Thats becuase up untill 08/89 they used the 6m crank correct? Im pretty sure they used the 6m crank up untill 08/89 then actually made a crank for the 7m.
I'm still confused on this sites assistance, they have the heads separated by turbo and non-turbo with 2 different prices each, the non-turbo requires everything and costs more than the turbo head does, what is this all about (now you'll see my confusion): http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/perf...3/Engine/Heads

agreed. HPF resells and is not Toyota, so for all I know one is rebuilt and the other is a brand new casting...you'd have to ask them what the difference is and why.

I would 100% agree, but I know I came across a few other sites with the same thing, though I found a couple that did not. Both heads are "new Toyota", so as far as being refurbished, I'm not sure, again, as you suggested a phone call could clear that up. Again, this is where my confusion happened and I could see why anyone would have doubts.
