Fan Shroud - please advise...

Hey all. 1987 7MGTE Supra; needs a fan shroud. I have a line on one from a 1987 Supra non-turbo 3.0 via an online parts junkyard. Are they the same shroud? Or is the GTE larger due to a bigger radiator? Any input appreciated. Thanks.

I would think they are the same. Tomorrow I can compare the one from my 88 Turbo to my friend's 87 N/A.

...if no one else replies before then lol.

They are the same as I recall, or so close as to not matter.

Thanks Bob. Good enough to try at least. Found one on a junkyard online search and I need one desperately. I'll go ahead and purchase it.

Again, thanks.

Thanks guys, that's all I needed to know on that thread. I have a line on a junkyard shroud for $75 so I am ordering it now. Working on a pretty dilapatated MKIII '87 and it needs a lot of work; project car for my step son. Runs pretty darned good but without that shroud it gets hot fast. The supplimental cooling fans won't come on with the sensor -- yet. I replaced the sensor but still won't work. They're either on or off. I think there's a problem in the AC circuit, as I believe they'd come on with the AC. Well anyway, I digress. Thanks again! I'll go ahead and definately order that shroud tomorrow.

You can buy a new one for that price, they are 2 parts, main and lower part, most the ones from junk yards are broken, I bought one online , the guy had glued the broken part.
