Knock sensor rewire pics.

So after a couple of weeks of plugging in my knock sensor, the code 52 started coming back, with a vengance. I rewired it earlier, took pics, test drove 4 times on the highway after a break in between, no more codes, none, all gone

After taking a quick measurement, I laid out my new stranded shielded wire, made a slit where sensor 2 gets plugged in, pulled out the wire for it and began termination/soldering etc... End of game, it only took a soldering iron, solder, heat shrink tube, electrical tape, knife to cut a small slit in harness and to cut a small slit in the firewall grommet, phillips screw driver, 10mm, 12mm and 14mm wrenches to remove alternator and get to the ECU.

I figured it would a good idea to totally reterminate at the ECU, so that is exactly what I did, also hooking in the common shield wire up again at the ECU, so it is grounded at both ends, one at the intake plenum and again in the dash.

No more problems, no more check engine light. Ignition switch already replaced and speedometer bulk head repaired along with the 2 piece speedometer cable replaced with a teflon lined one piece, for $20 for codes 42 and 43.

Yes, in a perfect world I am. I still need ALOT more parts, but for performance, not to make the car run right.
