Transmission Leaking

My transmission is losing some gear oil. I usually park in the same place and don't see any oil stains from leaking on the pavement. Where could it be leaking? And how can I find it? I was going to go get some A/C system dye and put some in it and use a UV light would this work?

Is it an auto or a manual?

Typically i've seen with manuals either the seal where the driveshaft and yoke are coming out, will go bad starting to leak (mine is too).

Automatics could be leaking from the hosing going from the trans to the radiator or the pan gasket. I am under cars everyday and this is what i'm noticing.

Check those spots and let us know

It is a manual. If it is leaking in the drive shaft area, will it leave spots when it sits, or does it mostly show it's leaks when its running? I am getting a clutch put in soon so what else should I go ahead and replace while the transmission is down?
