Hey everybody have you all seen the 1993 toyota supra turbo from 2FAST2FURIOUS. Well I was wondering you know the hood on the supra with the 4 triangle things? are those exhaust systems or what? please let me know. And where can i Get a
6 speed manual tranny for a 1993 toyota supra turbo. please let me know thanks

i dont think its exhaust, maybe let the engine breath a little.

as for a 6 speed, i beleive its a getrag(sp) tranny that works. i know for sure the TT editions of the supra came with 6spd manuals, so search in a junk yard for a trashed TT supra(somehow i think unlikely) or for the getrag(sp)

it is a getrag tranny. funny word, but that is how it is spelt.

the cutouts in the hood are just holes to let hot air escape the engine bay. you can find them on the net at several supra type net stores.

that's a TRD hood on that Supra. Just order it from Toyota it's part or there 3000 GT body kit series

As quoted previously the tranny is a Getrag, there is a company out of AZ that sells rebuit ones (with a warranty) on Ebay keep your eyes out and get your wallet ready, I'd seriously look into getting yours rebuilt, or if its a new install you definetly need to check this out http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/aut...wap/index.html
