So i have a spearco replica intercooler, and im deciding how to mount it so its flat in the front, and still use the stock ic piping. Of course im going to need reducers etc. but anyone else done this on here or happen to have a ... walk through???
Reusing your stock piping will be both inefficent and a pain. I'd honestly suggest you just replace it. Especially since you're probably going to be using a side to side plumbed intercooler.

Who came up with this 500px wide BS?
Man, i dont wanna weld up some custom hardpipes with exhaust tubing, alum's too damn expensive for me... Anyone make ic hardpipes w/ exhuast tubing and have it work good? One of my friends did it to his 9second talon, and it works, but its heavier than shit!
EDIT: Jeeves, on your front bumper did you cut out the mesh thing or did it come like that? I was going to cut my mesh crap out and sand it down etc. whenever i installed the fmic. I was just wonderin if any of the supra bumpers were already just open like yours...
Ahh i see now. I think im going to cut out the mesh grill on my 89 bumper. I like the thing it has in the center, i dont wanna get rid of that for a 87-88 bumper. Ill post pics whenever i do it.
I think it will look good with the nosepiece n the mesh grill cut out. Trying to think of best way to do it. Bumper off, sawzall it then sand it down nice on the edges... Hmm......... What would you suggest?
it's easier to get a Greddy Gracer replica from ShineAutoProject, they're stuff has either the same great quality, and in most cases BETTER QUALITY than the originals...
fitment is usually 100% depending on your application..
