OK, so there is a foot of snow outside. Trying to get out of my driveway, I banged through the gears, speedometer reading 130mph (tires just spinning though) when the clutch began slipping in between gear changes. Now the pedal, when pushed in, sticks to the floor. I can not shift gears unless the engine is off, even after pulling the pedal back up by hand. Is the master cylinder gone out or what, is this a common problem with the toyota's or am I overlooking something?

I figured as much, $194.99 at driftmotion before shipping for all 3, was hoping maybe a broken, easily replaced spring somewhere, but hey, I don't know nothing about Toyota's, so I figured I'd ask.

My clutch is gone, the car will not move faster than 5mph on a level road, no matter what rpm. A quick question: How much does the factory flywheel, clutch and pressure plate weigh? My new set up, combined, weighs in at 33 pounds.

You spun your wheels in the snow while stuck, so fast that your speedometer read 130mph?
That's just about the coolest thing I've heard.
Did it get you unstuck?
What gear did you get up to?

That was in 5th, just before the cabin filled with clutch smoke It's all good, new stuff is on the way, new rebuild kit, Marlin Crawler chromoly bearing retainer, shift socket, poly shifter bushing, poly trans mount, shift fork support and spring along with new shift fork, full engine gasket set (already arrived) and clutch and flywheel (already arrived).

Got to get me my own car again because my momwould be pissed if i did that to hers.
It might be a loong time before we get that much snow here in soutf maryland.
If when i get my supra i don't think i could do that. Sounds like just to much stuff to fix afterwords.
but it does sound likefun.
I was already having clutch problems, believe me, rebuilding the trans and everything is just to know everything is good, all I really needed was a new clutch, well before I fried it. Do it once, do it right.
