'79 MKI head gasket

I've recently picked up a 79 Supra for cheap. The shop diagnosed a BHG, car owner's wife said "too much money in it already--get rid of it"... I picked it up for $500. Figured it'll be a cheap first car for my youngest. The more I read, the more I think I'll fix it, sell it, and buy a more suitable car for her. This is in too good of shape to be left in the HS parking lot everyday. And with rear wheel drive, no weight, and icey winters...she needs a FWD.

Anyway, I've been reading everything I can on it prior to starting in on it, and I keep seeing references to the HG material--composite, metal, etc. "Stay away from Fel-pro, get Beck-Arney, get special head bolts, only buy Toyota OEM parts, etc. I've found a Beck-Arnley head gasket set on close-out for about $45. Is this what I need to do the job?

I realize there's not much MKI stuff on this site, but I figure somebody around here will have some input to offer.

Thanks.

I'm not familiar with the aftermarket for the MKI, but I'm absolutely sure there are several people over on celicasupra.com that are. That forum is dedicated to the MKI and MKII community, and has THE most knowledgable MKI owners around. Of course, if you find an answer post it up here too as I'm sure down the road someone would love to find that gem here as well!
