86.5 supra bird cage light

i was just wondering what the bird cage light meant? when my supra was running it would come on then go off then one day it stayed on and never went off? i also have another thread about my motor to say the least comments and help greatly accepted thanks!

Sounds like your car is dumping or burning coolant, both are indicative of a blown head gasket.

Hi, that light is the radiator low fluid indicator light. not the blown head gasket indicator...lol

just put some fluid in the over flow tank and radiator will pull from there. Has worked for me...

And when the coolant starts disappearing, it's often because it's going somewhere. It's usually the first indication of a Blown Head Gasket.

yep your right i tried both methods neither worked... when i tried to crank it everytime it would turn over it would dump it from under the motor or thats where i saw it come from and drip off the exhaust... not good... so 2jz is my choice now!!! :}
