Clutch kit for a 1993 JDM Toyota Supra

Hi

I'm new here.

I bought a 1993 JDM Toyota Supra one year ago and I really like it.

Nothing more to say than this car is perfect.

I have to change my clutch. I went to my Toyota dealer, they don't have any parts listed for 1993. Maybe they began selling the car here in Canada in 1994, but nobody seem to really know something about this car ... The clutch kit for a 1994-1998 is way too expensive.

So i was planning on buying an Exedy clutch kit wich is the company that makes the clutch for Toyota, this one is cheaper, around 200$.

On the US Exedy website, they say there's a different clutch only for the 1993 model with the 2JZGE, and another one for 1994-1997 models with 2JZGE too.

Is it the same thing for my 1993 JDM Supra ? I can't find any infos on the clutch to use for the 1993 JDM Toyota Supra.

So did I need to buy a clutch kit for a 1993 Supra or for a 1994-1998 ?

Thanks a lot for your help guys

The MKIV Supra was really interduced as a 93.5 model year. The tranny for all MKIV, 93.5-98 2JZ-GE cars is the W58 so clutches that say 94-98 will fit. Just make sure you don't accidentally order one for the 2JZ-GTE because it will not fit.
