doing a mod w/ a supra engine

im about to plunge into this mod with a buddy of mine and creat 2 beasts if you will. where are some bargain places to shop for parts, the sites i looked at hit 4 figures real quick?

details would help: engine, what mods as supradude123 mentioned, goals, car it will be going in given you seen to be creating "2 beasts".

That said, even a simple stainless exhaust with downpipe on turbo cars or a header on a normally aspirated car will run you over a grand.

the cars that we are about to put together dont even matter, but the engine is the 2jz. i know alot of you shop for parts on the regular, and know where youve had a good experience, but since i have never shopped for toyota/ lexus, i was asking what are some good sites to shop from. i also realize that there are parts that are just expensive, but i need to save were i can.

for anything below 4 figures you would be hard pressed to make over 350whp on any supra.

Is your best bet to squeeze everything you can out of of a stock engine for under a grand.
