87 supra power problem

hey guys i just picked up a 1987 supra, and for some reason, im getting no power at all now, it was running fine yesterday, seemed like if the motor was seized and made a couple clicks and every thing just shut off, like no power at all, not even the horn lights nothing, this is just a normal 7mge with a 5spd any ideas on what you guys think? i checked for fuses, they looked fine for me, one looks funny but idk

Well, are you getting no power at all as in "No dome lights, no dash lights, no beeps, no horn, no nothing." as well as no crank? There's nothing on the +12V side, but you may want to check your grounds. Try pulling the main ground and following it, make sure nothing got chewed up. Also make sure it's getting a good connection at the battery. I've seen slightly loose connections/corrosion do some funny things.

what do you mean the fuse looks funny? also be sure theres no corrosion on the battery terminal also, that would caus a bad connection as well as the loose grounds, but if the battey is fine and fuses are fine then you have a bad ground or a bad positive wire

I would check the Alt Fuse as well easy to skip over and sometimes they burn out where you can't see it. It is one of the big fusable links that is 80A or 100A something.
