88 Turbo engine pull problems

I am having difficulties pulling my 7mgte engine out of my 88 supra! I have all of the transmission bolts out and everything seems to be detached but it still wont completely come off the transmission! I am thinking that maybe its caught on the clutch or something like that IDk! Majority of the time it has been on jacks while trying to get it out, but I just tried lowering the car off of the jacks and it still wont budge. Any thoughts?

Did you already pull the little fork in the tranny housing through the inspection cover?

I dont think so, its not ringing a bell as to anything done! I think the motor might have seized up could that play a part in it?

No. There is a clutch fork, it's inside the bellhousing. It is this guy and pulls on the clutch and clips inside the bell housing:

I will go and see if I can get that out, thanks much! And if the engine seizes up that is not going to hurt the trans? If so do you know a place to buy slightly used or refurbd ones, I cant find the one for a turbo

The sudden stop will naturally put an unnecessary load on several components when it happens but it shouldn't harm anything. A "seize" is really a vague term. A seize at idle, and revving the engine and having it seize at 6000 rpms would be quite a different mechanical load.

I haven't kept up on where to buy used/JDM engines sorry.
