7m-GTE,1JZ or 2JZ engine swap for a 1990 MK3 5sp

Ive been wondering, what is the better engine. I know that the 2JZ is twin turbo, the 7M is single. And I dont know too much about the 1JZ. Could anyone shed some light on this subject?

they are all inline sixes.
the 1jz was for the jdm market only, and was a stock engine in japan. the 7m was the engine of choice in canada and the us. the 1jz delivered some 280hp in stock form, and could be and was modified from there. we have a local guy transplanting a 1jz into a mk3 and he is adding toys as he goes. it will be a monster. that is about all i know about 1jz's. for more info, you need to track steve down.

you can find steve(51cards) on both supraforums, and the torontosupraclub forums. he has a website of his progress with pictures and information. he will also happily answer any questions you have. there is a 1jz-swap forum on both those forums i mentioned as well.
