1991 toyota supra clutch replacement

I am in the process of purchasing a 1991 toyota supra. It is being sold as a nonturbo but still has innercooler and turbo decal on the back so it had been a turbo. Anyways the clutch slips and I need to order a replacement---does it matter if I order a turbo or nonturbo clutch for this being the car was built as a turbo?

Well, that depends. The non-turbo will probably be for a W58, where as the Turbo will be for an R154. They are different transmissions. I'm just not sure of the implications of that as I've never personally dealt with the W58.

They are physically different clutches. If the car was originally naturally aspirated and they added a turbo engine, you need to figure out if they used the R154 or re-used the W58 in order to get the right one.
