Metal Head gaskets can be used on turbo and no turbo supra engines. There are a few special conditions or requirements that need to be looked at before using a MHG.

The heads and blocks of turbo and non-turbo supras are identical. the turbo engine has different pistons which alter the compression, and also have built-in oil squirters directed to the underside of the piston to help cooling.

fixing a BHG can cost as little as the parts, plus a week of your time, and a few hundred for machining, or up to 6000cdn for a full engine rebuild. The less you do, the cheaper it is, but the less likelyhood of getting a long lasting repair.

what is the status of your supra now?
Where are you located(state/province)?
