Vacuum Hoses, need asistance!

I'm stumped on this. My "auxilary air hose" is not connected at the bottom from where it meets the stainless vacuum lines that met up to the oem BOV. The main metal tubes that run off the throttle body and intake all already have hoses on them, the one in question goes into the engine block, below the head. My question is, where the hell does the oem bov get its vacuum and if it is from the vacuum sources under the manifold-that connect to the solenoids and egr, etc... then where does this hose from the block get connected???? I've searched the tsrm and it is not helpful, it states something along the line of vacuum origination-not what I needed to know-where the origination is the important thing.
The car does start and run though...

Thank you Jeeves, but I have to ask, what metal tube at the front of the manifold? Are you talking about the multi-tube assembly that also feeds the EGR?

Damn. Sorry about that, had this open in the browser at home and it looks like I never hit post.

I'm assuming you mean that feeds the EGR VSV because I haven't had EGR for a long time and I don't recall another EGR connection down there.

Yes, the multi-tube connector on the front has (recalling from memory) a LARGE tube, then a medium size tube (which will connect to the BOV line) then several smaller lines which all connect in one sort or another to either VSV's or the like.

I figured it out, it doesn't run towards the alternator, it runs almost directly back, inline with the throttle body and yup, it connects to the big line. I don't have an EGR either, so I disconnected it from the TB and hooked it up to my aftermarket vac/boost gauge. Thanks Jeeves.
