Getting close, now winter is coming on.

Well I finally have made some good progress on my rebuild, just in time for the end of the season.

Pics.

What it looked like complete at the beginning.

Why I had to rebuild.

I am building a new special manifold just for the new setup, that should pan out to be rather cool.

And unrelated our 2jzgte swapped 87 held up great all season long, put down 550rwhp at 22psi, and ran a 12.3 at 18psi.
This spring is going to be a very fun one in deed.

nice work. I'm in the same boat...parts coming together, and snow getting ready to drop any day now. Hope the motivation to keep working sticks through the winter

Thanks!

My motivation comes easily in the winter months... It's either build a car, or go bat poop crazy with boredom and homework.

Any particular reason for the custom rail?

I hear you, but my garage is uninsulated at the moment and the little heater out there can't keep up. I used to be able to deal with it but now that I'm getting older, I find it just sucks freezing my ass off...so it waits for spring. Old + Cold = Pussy

I am slightly spoiled for winter builds...

Old picture, and the garage has changed a bit but my photo taking ambition lacks many times. (roles have reversed blue supra is together, and black supra is torn apart as a project lol.)

Certainly is a good reason :-D And yes, I envy your winter building space.

Thanks, I owe many thanks to my Uncle. He built the garage so we can have fun.

Made some more progress also, it is amazing how with time things have a tendency to be switched up....

The engine bay didn't turn out spotless, but it is much better than it ever has been, I fully intend to get the engine installed here very soon. (hopefully without damaging the new paint)
