5ME engine

I recently went to a junk yard to find a fan, but I cam across a cressida witha 5ME engine in it. I was wondering if this would be worth my time to try to rebuild it and eventually swap into my 93 toyota truck. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

i have seen those toyota trucks with the supra turboed 7mgte in them. now that would be something worth while.

the 5mge would still be better than the stock 4-cyl, and it is a lot of work either way. if you toss a turbo on the 5mge as you put it in, then you'd be haulin a$$!

A friend of mine did that..... that thing had tons of torque. He ended up flipping the truck when he was off roading.
