2jz manifold on 1jz?

This may be a stupid question but, will a 2jz single turbo manifold work on my 1jz? My friend is selling his single turbo manifold and T66 turbo for a 2jz for $650...so I'm trying to figure out if it will work. Thanks for any help

Check the 1j section at www.torontosupraclub.com, or www.supraforums.com. They can likely answer that question, though I'm leaning to the no conclusion if memory serves.

It is not a dumb question. the only dumb question is the one you do not ask. i have heard people talk of these two heads being compatible. i have heard of 5m-ge and 7m-ge and 7m-gte heads being compatible, but that is the extent of it.
