clutch

Well, it is 100% either master cylinder or slave cylinder.
You can have them rebuilt at your local shop, or buy
brand new from toyota, but be prepaired to spend some
serious cash.
Cheers !

you ran out of clutch fluid meaning it's leaking somewhere.
fill it up, bleed it, check for leaks. (master and slave) the master is on the driver's side of the engine bay by the firewall and the slave is on the tranny.

the most common place you'll notice leakage is right by your feet above the clutch pedal.

clutch fluid is just plain old dot 3 brake fluid.

They are quite cheap from Toyota ($125 CDN last I did mine). Rebuilds were almost as expensive as a brand new one was. Made my choice easy.
