runs for 2 seconds then dies

well i recently did my gte 5 speed swap into my car, it starts for about 2 seconds, then dies. i checked the codes and i have codes 32 and 51, i have a feeling that it is starting for those few seconds because of the cold start injector, but i dont know why it would not continue to run. i am using the gte ecu and wiring harness from the car, but i did not change the injector solenoid thats mounted inside the engine bay, could that be the problem. and i camkeep it running on starting fluid, but after i stop spraying it it dies.

anyone

thankyou

billy

Injector Solenoid? What part are you talking about?

The fuel injectors were different between the NA's and the GTE's.

Starting fluid is fine for carb'd vehicles but it really shouldn't be needed for EFI'd cars. Though no matter how you slice it, it sounds like you're not getting fuel. Do you know if you have fuel pressure? There's only so many components that can fail or not work. Injectors, regulator (even if it fails, car will start and work fine), pump, etc.

i havent gottne a chance to check the pressure yet. i belive it is starting for those few seconds because it is running off the cold start injector. i do have an after market security system, that i belive may be causing the problem. it is going to be removed today. i know the pump is at least working because when we unpluged it, the car wouldnt start at all.
