7mgte HG

i have a question for the 7m guys, i was wondering if any would happen to have a toyota dealer OEM headgasket, reason im asking is cause i think a person sold me some cheap geadgasket, and did not last on my 7mgte, i did a 1 hour trip to my friends house in boston and blew right at his house, im lucky that i wasnt driving it in the high way at high rated RPM, and had to get it towed back to my house, so i was wondering if some one would have a OEM toyota headgasket, just to see how it looks like

thanks

There's any number of reasons a head gasket can fail. Improprer block or head prep. Improper bolt/stud torque. Improper torque sequence. Bad HG. Re-using a HG. Etc.

I don't know of any real "cheap" HG's off the top of my head. I know of some that I'd prefer over others. But most any one as long as it was done properly would hold on a 1hr highway trip.
